Going to be a very difficult game tonight against a well trained victory and we have no juric and possibly Hersi. Along with these poor conditions

Spiro and NTS need a better combo at the back. With MB back, the back 4 should get back into a better grove. In saying that, defensive mid also needs to get in a better position to halt the attack. Last week the Roar took advantage of our hesitation and poor positional play. Our hesitation and ball-control from our backs was worrying.

We are missing Hersi, especially last week. The Roar played a compressed game, and pressured our players alot. We had limited options on the flanks to expand the game and open the Roar up. The times we looked dangerous was when we spread the ball wide.

Lastly, we need more confidence in our ability to have a shot. The way our players want to dribble all the way to the goal-line really irritates me. Just have a crack!

No hersi, no shinji and no juric, despite it's only Wellington, defensively we are ok but it's our attack with out those 3 being a concern.

Our defense is very shaky.

Heart probably should have beat us. Roar gave us a working. Adelaide made it tough.

It looks like this season, Popa wants to play the game from the back. The players are very hesitant at the back, which is handing over the ball too easily. I understand that Popa wants to play a high-posession game, but it comes with risks. Currently I just dont think it's working.

Must Win Game Vs Ccm. Roar Dropped Pts Yest. In addition the ladder is congested from 2-5. Teams 3-6 play against low opposition this week . A loss to CCM would leave us vunerably exposed. A win would Close the gap on Brisbane and gwe Us much needed space With ACL around the corner.

Last I heard Sopporo made an offer and it was rejected by the Wanderers. At the time the Wanderers said that Ono was not going anywhere but Sopporo were thinking of making another offer.

Really he has been great in the a league so far. Hopeful he would stay for champion league.
Quality player, seems to have reinvigorated his career, looks a lot fitter then he was before at the wanderers

What's the go there?
- wanderers fans were at the Royal Melbourne Hotel for pre-match drinks

- Victory fans ambushed them at the pub by throwing flares, rocks, metal bars and chairs towards the wanderers fans who were inside the pub.

- a small group of wanderers fans who travelled down, retaliated which escalated into a brawl.

Such a pretentious bunch these A-League supporters. Do they think they are in Europe or something watching actual football? What a deluded bunch.

So looks like the FFA have had enough and are looking to impose points losses for the clubs if they have any more incidents. Not sure how that is fair, given that if they reach 0 points there is no incentive for fans to behave, and it may encourage opposing fans to start violence in an attempt to have the other side lose points.

I recall a while back (pre A League) another way to kerb fan violence was to simply not allowing fans to the games, or limiting the amount of fans.

Wont work because you said, the opposition fans will try and antogonise them plus will lead to more violence if their teams have nothing to play for.

It's a classic David Gallop tactic though... beat your chest in manly bravado and issue a few idle threats, which everyone knows will never work.

Thats how a lot of the Wanderers fans who follow NRL saw it. They call it the classic NRL Gallop reaction. A lot of wanderers believe nothing will come out of this because this wont help stop the 'violence' at a-league games
