Game Day Forum Poll

We have now run the game day forum for 2 weeks.

http://www.thekennel.com.au/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=53

This forum has only 5 threads each week,

e.g.

Rnd 9 Roll Call: Bulldogs v the Byes (includes Y/N poll)
Rnd 9 Pre-match discussion: Bulldogs v the Byes (includes margins poll)
Rnd 9 Match Thread: Bulldogs v the Byes
Rnd 9 Post-match discussion:Bulldogs v the Byes
Rnd 9 3-2-1 Thread: Bulldogs v the Byes

There will only be 15 threads in total (once finalised) in the thread as older threads are moved into the Bulldogs Discussion forum.

Do you like this concept?
Should we continue with it?

I must admit, I like it now.

But people have to get on board and not double up threads in the Discussion forum.

I dont like it. In fact it was a little better as a sub forum here before it went to its own forum. Its even further to back out to look in there now. I am a fan of having it all in the Bulldogs discussion forum, i think lots of threads in there adds "atmosphere".

If i was a mod....i would have the match day threads sticky in the main forum so they dont get lost, rather than split them into seperate forums. They get even more lost that way

Cheers

Not sure if I like it. Everything thats talked about in the GD forum is talked about in BD. I will give it a chance though.

look at the dogs players off contract for next year

all i can say is, that even if none of them are re-signed it doesnt matter. none of them are key players or vital.

i would resign roberts/warburton and have a look in at some of the others for depth... but regardless we can boot a few of those to the curb and we will have even more $ spare to sign younger guys etc..

2010 will be a good year for us simply because its going to be the same team as this year with possibly another few good signings to add to it.

positive signs.

guys i would chase?

Dave Taylor
Ben Creagh
Petero Civoniceva
Aku Uate
Steve Price

Yes, i realise that we have no chance in hell to get the above players for many reasons.... none of these players will be let go by their respective clubs... but those are probably the obvious standouts.

Fark we are gonna have a fair bit more money for next season

Roberts is worth signing, unless we sign someone like Hohiha

Warburton and Williams, not on much

personally my biggest concern is who we will get after kimmorley leaves (assuming he retires at the end of 2010, but who knows? he may go another year.), hes going to be a hard one to replace as there isnt many quality halfbacks floating around.

If barba doesnt make it there (i think barba will end at FB personally) we need to really keep an eye out on this position.

I'd be re-signing:
Leaeno, Roberts, Utai, Warburton out of our bunch.

I'd be interested in signing:
Glenn Hall
Jerome Ropati
Richard Fa'aoso
Junior Moors
Ben Creagh
Dene Halatau

If we can get Lance Hohihia, I'd jimp TBH

No need to sign Roberts or Holdsworth

6. Hohihia
7. Kimmorley
9. Ennis

Thats a premiership in 2010 TBH

David Kidwell would be an excellent addition to our front row.

Preston Campbell would be a good buy too.

I really cant see the cows letting him go. He is such a key player not just to their team, but to marketing the cowboys brand that they will drive dump trucks of money to his house to keep him there IMO.
