well if u think about it, having one of the most respected rugby players (joey) coach the one of the most disrespected clubs ib the NRL (Doggies) could benefit The bulldogs by gaining respect from other clubs and society as a whole.

Let him get his wings at another club. He is not proven. If great players made great coaches all the time, Terry Lamb would be our coach.

If we have a good year in 08 you all will be begging for Folkes to stay.

just because he was a great player does not mean he would be a great fulltime football coach. assistant to the coach for now would be the best option for him and the club.
