Pearce has had a good series jump off the bandwagon. Reynolds and hodkinson did very little that series and we won, maybe that says that the halfback isn't the sole reason for winning and losing games like everyone makes out with pearce

They may not have done a great deal but they didn't constantly make mistakes like Pearce does in Origin. Both Pearce and Maloney were poor in the 2nd half of game 2 which resulted in their defeat.

I find it hysterical that all these experts on the Kennel that hate Pearce are happy for him to get dropped, but fail to offer up an alternative.

Guaranteed the same would be said for whoever was there instead of him all those years. The guy has copped so much blame simply because he's been nsw's best available half for years. Could guarantee if guys like adam reynolds and hodkinson had the same amount of games as pearce they would have done no better. If anyone should cop blame for nsw not winning game 2 and the series its wade graham. Crucial miss tackle on mcguire that they scored off and then a silly penalty with 5 to go when the maroons were stuck on their line

Yes they were poor as well, Thurston was injured and Cronk had been average since game one. Had Hayne and Graham not fucked up NSW would of probably won but that still wouldn't excuse the half's from failing to take control of the game.
