Actually they didn't announce finding Noahs Ark...

What happened was one of the team was digging, and put a shovel almost through his foot...

"F..ARRRRRRRRRRRRRK ... F ARRRRRRRRRRRRKKKKK" he yelled.
"are you okay" others yelled back.
"Nooo ARRRRRRRKKKKKKKKK N hell it hurts" he replied.

and then Phil Tossfield reported they'd found Noahs Ark

It's also led to many deaths. You know world war 1 was essentially carried out to further technological advancements and a testing ground?
Nope. It was because of a vacuum of power left after the assassination of arch duke Franz Ferdinand which lead to a raging conflict. Nothing to do with technological advancement.

That said, many technological advancements have come about due to war.

Remember though, if it wasn't for technological advancements, this forum wouldn't exist. We wouldn't have TV to watch the Bulldogs suck. We probably wouldn't live long enough to watch them suck anyway.

They found Noah's arch in turkey
Unfortunately that has already been proven to be false. Turns out that the boat shape was a natural fault line structure which appeared after an earthquake in the 1940s

One of the interesting religions I like is Pantheism. They adhere to the belief the God is the Universe and that anything exists because living things expect them to exist.

Einstein was once quoted as saying that he doesn't adhere to any religion but if he did then it would be Pantheism.

Watch this movie - even if you're not into astronomy. It really opens your eyes just to how big the universe and beyond really is. Look at the size of the largest known planet in our universe. Then compare that to the largest known sun. Then compare that to one light day. Then one freaking light year.

At the 4:20 mark of the video, we see really just how big the milky way is. Then the milky way is a small dot of other milky ways which are collectively known as the cosmic web. The cosmic web forms up the universe. Then the multiverse appears (all other universes out there).

FFS I need a strong shot of whisky after watching this. I mean, I know space is called space for a reason but DAYUM!

Thanks for posting, I did hear once that there are more stars than grains of sand on the earth and thought that impossible but after seeing that I can see how

They thought it was impossible so a group of scientists and mathematicians carried out the math. Of the stars in the known Universe there actually are more stars than grains of sand based on the estimation of how many grains of sand there are.
