I think we will win the comp this year. We have 2 of the best, if not the best, wingers in the nrl , the best forwards and 2 highly competent centres .. That's more than half the team which should be enough to carry the side..

I don't mean to be a pessimist but we lack the strength in key positions to go all the way, we may cause a few upsets this year but we still lack the class that the other teams have e.g. kicking game, ball playing fullback, organisational half. When was the last time a team won a premiership with a makeshift halfback and fullback? Realistically i think we're still 2-3 years away from winning a premiership. Probably around the time when Abbey and another half back comes through. I maybe wrong, would love to hear your thoughts...

I'm inclined to go with your prediction. My feeling is that Des has gone for long term recruiting and development of younger talent, while making do with the side we currently have. When he starts bringing forward some of the younger players, we will have the nucleus of a Broncos/Storm style of team that will take out more than its share of premierships.

Winning is everything.
We should enter every season believing we can win it.

"Next Year" is achievable. We will always win the comp next year.

Realistically as a realist I can tell you we will win the grand final this year. It's easy.
2012 made the grand final lost
2013 made semis lost
2014 made grand final lost
2015 made semis lost
2016 made grand final won. Third time charm always breaks the curse.

We need far better attack... 2012 we would spread the ball off a kickoff and score, ben barba was great for us.

We dont have anyone who threatens the line. Brett morris is a great finisher but not with a set line.

Graham has been muzzled, t rex turned into a tollman without the fitness, josh reynolds is a broken play player..

We need offloads, to a retreating defence, thats the only way to play
