What are peoples thought's on our back 5?

So far Mbye has been impressive and will only get better.

Overall as a back 5, i am of the opinion that our back 5 is one of the weakest in the comp? I am thinking that its between us and the Titans for the weakest back 5 in the NRL

Its a shame the Morris Boys are ageing and will never find or hit the form of 5+ years aho, but thats the nature of the game.

Hoppa and Montoya are dead set turtles.

I agree that its between us and the Titans for the weakest backline in the comp.

Another way of looking at it is which of our players from our current backline could slot straight into another opposition teams backline?

We can’t blame the Morris boys either,did there bit when younger
These guys just haven’t got any speed about them
Try some sprint training

Barring Mbye our backline is absolutely horrid. No pace to be found at all.

The defence down the right edge has been borderline pathetic so far so I’m hoping to see some changes.

Like most have said, our back 5 is horrendous bar Mbye. Morris boys way too old. Hoppa is a waste. Montoya is awesome at catching high ball but besides that is useless as tits on a bull

If we want to have any chance of winning the comp by 2022 we definitely need a new 2-5 from next year onwards.

Add another backrower, hooker and a couple of bench players and we might be in with a chance

Hoppa is the weakest in our back line, he needs to create something in attack, its early days but the Tongan rep should be looking to cement his position.

We need a gun centre and tall, fast and good finishing winger. Fuk i would love Latrell Mitchell and Curtis Rona right now !

We've never been a club that has fast backlines, but we've still done well whenever the forwards have dominated.

It’s weak. We can get more out of the morris boys if they switch to the wing and we find some ex con savage centres who can bust tackles and create chances.

Think a few are a bit harsh here.
Mbye is the standout at the moment yeah.
JMoz scored a 90m try last week (still has speed), excellent defender one of the best in the comp. Played his best game for us for a long time.
BMoz still has enough to match it with the younger fellas.
Hoppa 3rd game at Centre in 5-6 years?? Give it a bit more time. Defending at Centre is one of the toughest in the game.
Montoya, in a form slump, Montoya was one of our shining lights last year, I think he just needs some confidence then i think will excel.
Id take our backline over a number in the comp (as a complete team).
Our forwards need to aim up is our main issue.
