Talking of all things coaching, facilities ect what's going on at Belmore Sports Ground? it's just a big sand pit at the moment. I wonder why they are resurfacing it?

Also someone might be able to tell me. How long do they get off after the last game of the season? I mean would they be in training this week?

I'd say announcements re players and officials will be made when pre season starts. It's off season now and most people don't care about league. Besides they are probably still finalising things.

Bulldogs coach Des Hasler is set to secure a coup by luring highly respected conditioner Don Singe to Belmore from Manly.
Singe quit the Sea Eagles last month when he was not part of incoming coach Trent Barrett’s plans but he remains among the game’s best strength trainers.
And he was a key member of Hasler’s staff when the pair were together making grand finals at Manly a few years back.


Several clubs were keen on Singe but I’m hearing he is on the verge of re-uniting his partnership with Hasler.
Popular with the players and up on all the latest techniques, Singe could be the best buy the big-spending Bulldogs make all summer.
