And Hoppa didn't go backwards? Lol. Lafai at his best is a better centre than Hoppa has ever been.
Difference being that Lafia has been given every opportunity to excel with a great sporting organization in the Bulldogs but still has failed to preform to the best of his abilities where as Hoppa had to put up with a clown of an organization in Parra F.U matta.

Lafai had one great game in 2014 up at AAMI park in the semi's and people make it out like he tore the opposition'S apart during the 2014 season.

He was always behind Inu and has not excelled at all since hitting first grade.

It is time for Lafai and Perrett to move on and give the younger guys a shot if we cannot replace them with some other seasoned first graders

No. Just no. Lafai was one of the best in the comp in his position in 2014. Not one great game. He was our main weapon.

In 2013 he was also pretty good. This year he was trash 100% but to say 2014 he had one good game and has not excelled in first grade since his start is just nonsense. LOL @ behind Inu too.

Also another LOL. Lafai is 24. LOL @ younger guys. He is still yet to hit his prime.

If he dishes up the trash he dished up this year again next year, 100% tell him to move on. 2013 good season, 2014 amazing season, 2015 woeful season. He deserves another shot and has shown he can match it with the best. Just in 2015 he was one of the worst.

You shouldn't be laughing.

You should be crying.

Lafai has no speed, no agility and no power.
I have never seen a player driven back more times than Lafai.
Ffs Corey Thompson ran harder than Lafai and hardly ever got driven back.

It really hurts my eyes watching Lafai & Perrett play alongside each other. You prove to me that there is a worse combo in the comp?

Just some stats:

Averaged an offload a game @ 26 for the year

Averaged 11.5 runs a game for a return of 105 meters per game ~ 9.1 meters per run

Averaged 3.6 Tackle Breaks a game @ 96 for the year which means he beat a man 32% of the time

Tackled at 87% efficiency for the year

Laid on 13 Assists and 14 Tries including 2 Hat Trick games making him directly responsible for 108 of our points (discounting conversions), now I'm not sure if you watched much of 2014 but we were the worst attacking team by far only putting up 76 tries in the season = 304 points. Therefore Lafai was catalyst for 35% of our try scoring production.

Compare both Walker and Hopoate at their best and it's clear that Lafai is the superior player (when he's in form)

Now if we were talking about getting James Roberts......

I'd still prefer to swap Perrett

Lafai is slow as ,the best he does is runs across field and turns it back inside to the winger thats it ,we need more from a centre than that especially with jmoz in his twilight years

I have a bad memory but I think lafai in 2014 was one of the best centers in the game

Better than good - less than amazing, mark him as outstanding for 2014.

Good enough to persist with one quiet (injury clouded) year.

Good enough to earn loyalty from the clubs fan base too

I think anyone who considered Lafai anything other then an excellent centre prior to 2015 is clueless.

2015 he was woeful. As Assassin said 2014 one of the best centres in the comp. 2015 one of the worst. Let's hope he finds his 2014 form. Even his 2013 form was good enough to be happy with him.

Lafai was a good centre prior to this season. I honestly wouldn't consider him to be excellent. Sure he was good in 2014, but I still feel like he hasn't quite lived up to the expectations I had of him when he first came though on the left side. The one thing that has always shat me about Lafai is that he can be a pretty big ball hog a lot of the time. He was always a strong ball runner (up until this year), but I don't think he has all of the qualities to be considered excellent.

Definitely not a bad player and would happily keep him if he returns to 2014 form, but yeah, if he keeps this years shit up, piss him off.

Confirmed.

He's the director of Athletic Performance.

Started yesterday.
I checked in with a contact at the club. Singe in charge of conditioning. Harry Harris who was in charge of weights programs finished up at the end of the season. Not sure whether singe is running the entire show or not

Also for those talking about our specialist halves coach we don't have one. Terry lamb spends some time with the boys but that seems to be as good as it gets (for now)

I like how Singe takes time out on his Facebook to honestly and upfront talk to fans without holding back.

Quite refreshing!
