Schuster not on dogs watch but NAS is. Bellamy wants a good player for NAS swap, Jacob Preston has been named as a potential swap
They don’t really need an edge player but they’re dreaming if we’re going to give them Presto. The swap that makes sense to me is probably Nelson for Skelton. But there’s no reason for a swap, Storm in this instance would probably be better off with cap space

Why not sign the highly talented Schuster ?
I would on a minimum wage with massive bounces included based on performances,
If this doesn't get him back on track nothing will !

One of those super gifted people that can’t match that natural talent with a strong mindset - the mind is everything.

Give Manly a swap for Topine and they pay the difference in $$

Would have been 1 of those talented kids who dominated his age group and made rep teams without really trying, and assumed NRL would be that easy. Now he is in an environment where everyone is talented and everyone is working harder than him

As per fat head Ritchie at the Daily Shitrag:

Cowboys: Zero chance
Broncos: No interest
Titans: Not seeking a back-rower
Dolphins: Not in club’s plans
Knights: Haven’t given Schuster a thought
Raiders: No interest
Dragons: Not at this point
Roosters: No interest
Rabbitohs: Zero interest
Sharks: Not chasing him
Bulldogs: Zero interest
Eels: Politely declined any interest
Tigers: No interest
Panthers: No interest
Storm: Wouldn’t fit into club’s salary cap
Warriors: No interest

England is his only hope - and he has the added bonus of becoming Man Of Steel.

I think he’ll bounce around the NRL for a few more years. When he is desperate enough and doesn’t want to dig holes for a living then he’ll take the $150-$200k someone offers him. A few coaches will take the low cost punt that they can turn him around and get some value for money. Probably end up a mainstay in NSW Cup with the occasional purple patch seeing him string together a few NRL appearances here and there.

Think he has truckie written all over him.
For sure, I wouldn't want him at any price as he is way to brittle mentally. But Des is struggling big time and might think he can do something with him.
