Perham was somewhat of a surprise having made 16 appearance for the blue and gold.

He along with Naiduki and Hollis will now need to find a home in 2023.

The NRL are still negotiating the 2023 salary cap with the RLPA (can you believe they are leaving it this late? - well with the NRL, yes). In amongst the discussions are a Top 30 as now but also a 10 player supplemental list which may be the factor in having extra players on standby.

We will probably end 56 player on registered contracts same as this year.

I feel like Perham is going to be a teal shrewd signing. He’s a very talented player who I think once he makes his debut won’t give up his spot easily.
Not sure where he plays yet but he’s versatile enough to cover many roles and really out the heat on our backs if they don’t perform

Gus is a big fan of him. Signed him as a kid to Penrith years ago, ended up heading back home to NZ before coming back across to Parra.

I'm assuming his defence needs work, but with the ball he's actually pretty skilful, has a nice step and even a decent short kick. I feel like he could thrive under the right coaching.
