33 is a big difference to 13.
16 I tried a heap of different drugs.

Jokes aside, it is a pretty widespread thing. I think the issue with home schooling is you need to socialise kids somehow, otherwise they may end up with other social problems...bit school is not the only way to do that I don't think. I have some friends who gone school.

As scary as it sounds, remember addiction and serious drug anside are NOT as common as experimentation and adolescence is a curious age. If you are open and honest in talking about drugs with them...they will probably develop a more responsible attitude towards the issue...

But of course only you can decide what's best for your family. All I'd say is if the home schooling route is taken, I think it's important to get them involved in other social groups.

Doesn't mean they'll get hooked on it mate, they might experiment with it for a while.

You can't keep 24 x 7 watch over your kids, your best bet is to be open with them and encourage the use of their critical thinking and make sure they are confident as hell so they aren't peer pressured into anything they don't want to do.

My younger brother after a night of JBs and VBs I did a Maccas run, pulled in m4 maccas, he had a cheeseburger and I Didn't even merge back onto the freeway and he started letting out the most vile farts.
I had a hilux, both windows were wound down, I was driving with my head out the window dry wretching and I was still catching the smell!

I swear it was so vile, I reckon a demon cast a spell on him and that was an attempt to kill me?
Looking back I should of pulled over but it was like I was being choked in a headlock.

When we got home I finally came back to normal, he was blind drunk but I went off.
I told him if he ever did that again, I'd throw him out of the car while driving haha.

I know it’s hard..and I must say I haven’t the privilege to have kids..so I hope you don’t mind me saying this.. I think all you can do is teach your kids the best you can..and trust them to make the right decisions.. it’s probably easier said than done..after all you love them and want the best life for them..

yeah , but the little fucker thinks he is not addicted and he doesnt need a shrink to tell him that he has problem which he needs to sort out. He think is too fucken smart.

He backs it up with marijuana smoking and scoring good grades before he started getting into mixing zanax with alcohol. that got him fucked, but some private messages from southy have got me really concerned now.

I don't think weed is that bad if you don't smoke too much.
I did try it for the first time at 13 and took it up more regularly at 16 when I left high school.

Going back I say it was just like Chris Tucker in Friday

I was able to buy alcohol underage too but most kids can't so they will go buy weed illegally from someone who will supply it.

Imo if weed was legalised,taxed and regulated it would reduce underage use and put the ball in the court of parents to decide if they want their kid to smoke or not?

He's 13 but I know there are drugs at his school because my daughter knows girls who know boys from that school..

The school is 98% Asian and so I'm hoping because my sons a minority he won't be part of that group when he gets into senior years.

Hes already really frustrated by the chinese culture and hangs out with an Arab, a South American, an Algerian and a token Chinese kid lol.

I'm not doing anything about it because kids are already very well educated on what drugs can do to them .

I was the same. I played at an elite level in Basketball so i was always training and playing for 2 teams so i didn't have time for too much socializing. I had some school friends that were into smoking weed but i never had the urge to join in as i was focus on my sports and keeping fit. That was during my teenage years.

When i became an adult, well that's a different story. Turn old enough to go out to clubs, drinking and partying and eventually i got into a bit of weed smoking. That's as far i went when it came to drugs but that was only during my early 20's. Dabbling with weed never opened a gate for me to try harder drugs, i was never interested in it.
