Bulldogs coach Cameron Ciraldo has been spotted with Rabbitohs gun Blake Taaffe in a secret meeting on Friday.

An image circulated on Tuesday of Taaffe sitting down Bulldogs supremo Phil Gould and recruitment manager Peter Sharp.

Now the SMH is reporting the young fullback has had a conversation with the Canterbury-Bankstown coach ahead of what could be a huge cross-town switch.

The 24-year-old is without a contract for the 2024 season and is stuck behind superstar Latrell Mitchell at South Sydney.

Taaffee can play at both fullback and in the utility role and has starred in recent weeks while Mitchell has been sidelined.

Interestingly, he delivered an impressive display in a loss against the Bulldogs in Round 19 and scored a double.

With Jack Wighton arriving at the Rabbitohs next season, Taaffe may we one player squeezed out to make room on the club’s salary cap.

Instead of turning the heat on a non-proven First Grader, why don't you work hard on trying to keep our currently best player and Bankstown junior from going to the fucking Dolphins next year?

What a joke of a club we've become.

Isn't there a back entrance to our Leagues Club or Coach's office at Belmore that these guys can get business done at? ;)

Why do we keep feeding the chooks.
What about mobile phones video calls, saves leaving the building & saves petrol.

Also most of these secret meetings are probably leaked by the parties to get into the news.

They way our club operates... Can't wait to lose Papalii because we have Taafe
I don’t understand our recruitment either. Instead of improving on players we let go like Meaney, Cogger and Montoya we end up going backwards. I don’t get it, if you’re not going to replace players with better players then keep the ones you got. Going around in circles again.

How have the dogs in one off season fallen off a cliff defensively?
The softness is mind boggling and dissapointing, wouldn’t the team have some sort of buy in to structures?

Oh yeah also parramatta reaping off Trent Barrett’s attacking influence.
Eels look a more dangerous team even without Mahooney ..funny that is.

It’s like anyone who comes to this club is jumping into quick sand .
