After His brother and South Sydney legend Sam Burgess got the arse from the club recently, in his interview on the Let's Trot Podcast Latrell Mitchell joked and agreed with host Josh Mansour that of all people that Thomas Burgess would be the last allowed on a deserted island with him, Infact he joked that he would probably be the first one drowned. There certainly seems to be some truth to the rumours of a fallout between Latrell & Sam Burgess that led to him leaving.

If things aren't good with him at the Bunnies and if Tom isn't ready to go back to England just yet, could he be the missing piece of our 2024 squad.
Interestingly ZT have him listed as contracted only for 2024 at $400k.

Personally, based on the genuine lack of Middles we have I'd definitely have him on board.
