I think he's on around 170k next season so 350k is already twice as much as he's going to be earning. We are in a position (we should be) where we can drag negotiations out so we can at least get a look at him next year and see if he can reproduce his late season form. If that costs us a bit extra long-term then so be it, I'd rather us have some certainty around our signings and spend extra money than just throwing it around and hoping for the best like we've done previously. The other option is an early release, Roosters were open to that earlier in the year and while I doubt they are now I think there's still an opportunity their to ruffle some feathers.Your not wrong but it comes down to enticing him to move.
He aint moving anywhere for 350k, 2 year deal.
I reckon he will become a very good First grader once he settles into the NRL.
