Salmon can play same role he did at Panther, impact edge player to spell Kiks if needed. Mann has played both lock and hooker at Knight so can cover both here (mainly interchange lock). We have a few options at least.

hutchinson has played 60 FG games for the roosters in 3 years. He can't be that bad

His footy IQ is good. This is something we aren’t flush with. He is the slowest player to ever lace on a boot though.

I like all the signings. Hopefully SST is just delayed due to coming back from France. If we can get him and another Knight level prop or better we are in business for 2024. Squad looking really good except for that obvious weakness.

I am happy with mann as a benchie.

Hutchinson is decent depth.

Turpin is meh but nsw cup or back up hooker is solid at worst.

Faamausili is very underwhelming from what I’ve seen. We have lost 2 props on 1.5 mil at minimum between them (tpj and Thompson) granted king and knight showed more than them as starting (Pangai had games he did his role well and games he did nothing) Thompson was a fucking disaster and a pillow could replace what he gave us.

That said we need some bloody props. Afb needs to be signed for 25 with may.

Sst for 1-2 years would help honestly but it is what it is.

Not happy with the Turpin signing. Plenty of other options we could have taken there.

Imo, Reed needs a competent back up, plus I like the idea of Turpin coming in at 60-70mins - Given our lack of dominant forwards and Reed being targeted for that reason, it’s a tough ask for him to go 80mins.

Hutchinson can play 1-7 and back row which may be handy and I think Mann popped up after and he’s too good not to have.
I do think we are one utility too many but once you consider Salmon and Taafe too.
