Sutton looked like he nearly high fived Kevin Naiqama and wolf whistled after he scored the last try of the game to put his team in front. LOLLLL
He didn't. It was a bit of a chain of evidence. The on field ref said "Have a look at this. If Lawrence could have scored then it's a professional foul", the video ref said "There's no evidence to suggest that Lawrence could have scored", then the on-field ref said "Professional foul"I didn't hear the video ref say that it wasn't a professional foul?
Video ref said it was a professional foul hence the sin bin. But I agree it was a little one sided. I think tigers were the better sideOur club needs to put in an official complaint against them, and we should refuse to play if either of them are named to officiate our future games.
8 - 3 penalty count.
Video ref confirms no professional foul, Gerard over rules them and sends Lee to bin.
Tigers score where Lee should have been defending.
These two jokers need to be stood down and investigated.
Mbye was not behind the initial play the ball so he can't get involved in the play. What about the fact that he comes up with weird penalties against us.
That one where we had the ball and penalised mbye WTF was that.
Sutton really studies every word of the rule book when reffing our games
We didnt need it the penalty then as it killed that last play. Prick try to balance the ledger with that BS penalty. The last penalty of the game shows Sutton demeanor.
The tigers players were lying down on our player and had no intention of getting. It took ages for the penalty to be blown

What about the whole gameVideo ref only confirmed it wasn't a penalty try- that's it.
Thought the refs were harsh in the ruck though
Also stopped the quick tapWe didnt need it the penalty then as it killed that last play. Prick try to balance the ledger with that BS penalty.
I ruined a nice pair of ray bans after that call. Lucky i missed the telly. WTF was that BS penalty against Mbye? ??Also stopped the quick tap
I deal with a bloke flucken as ref it the hardest you can so get over it. Only we could complain about is consistently.Let's take a trip down memory lane:
Apr 2010 - Gerard Sutton stood down over stunning gaffe which saw Parramatta skipper Nathan Cayless incorrectly sin-binned for a stripping foul teammate Daniel Mortimer committed.
Apr 2013 - Gerard Sutton stood down from this week's NRL fixtures after two illegal incidents that injured two Canberra Raiders players went unpenalised.
Blake Ferguson copping a shoulder charge, which prompted no action from officials.
Jack Wighton illegally tackled in the air and Sutton failed to award the Raiders a penalty. Newcastle scored off the next set to win.
Apr 2015 - Black Friday Souths Bulldogs game. Sutton blows a penalty against James Graham chargedown, leading to a penalty in front at full time, leading to Souths winning 18-17.
Jun 2016 - After a complete screwup of a game during State of Origin, and a call that cost NSW the game, Laurie Daley leeds calls to have Sutton stood down from next SOO game. NRL ignore request.
Sep 2016 - Sutton stood down after what Ref Boss Tony Archers describes as "the worst refereeing performance in 40 years". His most crucial mistake was allowing a Broncos try when replays clearly showed James Roberts kicked an opponent in the back in the lead-up to the try. He also missed Corey Parker headbutting an opponent.
Apr 2017 - completely fucks over the Dogs.
In EVERY other job, you get 3 warnings. Fuck up after that time and it's off to find another job.
This bloke has been stood down 3 times already, and continues to make ridiculous mistakes officiating a game.
After Black Friday, he should never have been allowed to officiate another Bulldogs game with clear bias clouding his judgement.
We have not won a game under Gerard Sutton since March 2016, and have lost 7 out of our last 10 games with him as referee. Since Black Friday controversy, we have only won 2 from 7 (28.5%) games where Sutton has been referee.
