The Australian Rugby League has today selected the following players for the VB Test against New Zealand at Skilled Park, on the Gold Coast, on Friday, May 6:

i hope that because idris got selected for australia that it doesnt make stuart think he has to be in the origin team. test match is not same standard as origin. and idris is not origin material imo. cant believe he got in the team ahead of guys like bird, myles, leroyd-lahrs.

So that means so far we have 4 players in action over the week. Not very good considering its our bye especially for tolman who deserves a rest. And the city team is yet to be announced so might be a couple more in that team too (Payne, Hodgkinson, Keating, Turner?)

Also forgot about Prichard. So 5 with prichard doubt eastwood will play but he was there in the final so NZ selectors might feel inclined to keep the team together. The only good thing about prichard playing is he usually fires up playing for NZ. Hope he can bring some of that form back to the dogs.
