How do you like your workstation/ office/ desk to be organised?
Personally I like to have "future projects" to my left, "current projects" to my right and all completed projects stored in my drawers. I hate to have everything lying around on my desk. I need post-tits notes all over the place to remind me of what things are, when they are due and what to do. I need a notepad near me to jolt things down, along with my schedule, iPhone charger, those little "SIGN HERE" post its for contracts, and my jar filled with stationary.
Back when I was doing AutoCAD drawings however, all my drawings were everywhere, literally covering every inch on my table, but that was due to their sheer size (A0, A1 drawings).
