What happend to Luke Macdougal? Im not won on Mitch Brown MIA against Merrit, maybe see if Drury can defend better, we gotta fix the wing.

Lafai is a specialist left side centre. If Lafai is picked, Morris likely to move to right side and will mark Matai.
Josh Morris is one of the best left centres in the world and where his best strike is from , I know he can play r/h but would prefer him left .

We need a different style winger to Perrett on the other side. A dynamic, busting through tackles winger.

If Lafai comes in who will play right centre?
IMO Josh Morris would do a better job there than Lafai. The thing that backs my statemet up is that Tim Lafai is still inexperienced thanks to injury time lost. Josh Morris played right centre for the Blues and finished well on top of Justin Hodges... no mean feat.

Do we need to buy another winger mid season? Bring Utai back.

Luke has retired. Merrit's try came from Perrett's side:( Sam is one of our most consistent players (defensive wise), they will review the tape with him and see that on both occasions he rushed up, and left the winger unmarked.

Luke MacDougall has retired.

Actually it wasn't Mitch Brown who went MIA it was both Sam Perrett and Krisnan Inu when Nathan Merritt scored the try from Adam Reynolds kick. They both came up with Perritt coming in as well. Reynolds sussed the situation, put in the kick and the rest is history.

Manly are going to try and bash us senseless , we need to come up with a team to hit back . Am a bit worried about our second half attack this year - seems to me the game plan is to complete the sets and not make mistakes / mistackle . Thats all well and good but points are what we need , and a plan B .

Sorry Mitch, we still need to fix our wings with the Storm finding space out there too.

I'm picking this side presuming that Inu will be suspended and Ennis injured. My conscience wont let me pick Tony (Toddler Rex) Williams.

1 Ben Barba
2 Mitch Brown
3 Josh Morris
4 Moses Mbye
5 Sam Perritt
6 Josh Reynolds
7 Trent Hodkinson
8 Aiden Tolman
9 Mick Ennis
10 Marty Taupau
11 Frank Pritchard
12 Greg Eastwood
13 Josh Jackson

I've changed Eastwood to the second row so that he cann be more involved and thus add more mongrel. Josh Jackson is a top player, an "everywhere man" who I think would serve us much better at lock. To replace Inu I've chosen Moses Mbye simply because he's a very good young footballer who goes well in that position. It also solves the problem of selecting a specialist left centre to play on the right side.

Edited: I just saw james Rahme, our physio, on the Bulldogs website telling us that Ennis will be playing against Manly but KK is still on the bench as a backup for both Hok and The Mennis.

I've put in Romelo for his mongrel content, not his brilliance. I've changed Eastwood to the second row so that he cann be more involved and thus add more mongrel. Yep you are right. If you actually look back at Perrett's form since joining the club I have been far from impressed. He makes a lot of mistakes, his hands are like feet and multiple bad defensive reads that have lead to tries. He is a favoured one on this forum, but I'm not sold on him yet.

Inu makes bad defensive reads and Perrett needs to come in with his centre when this happen otherwise he gets a 2 on 1 everytime. More Inu's fault that Perrett's.

Perrett has still been good for us taking early hit ups in the set deep in our half.

Perret is one of the best dummy half runners in the game tbh, he eats meters and puts pressure off the forwards and makes more use of him self then being only a winger which is awesome.

I'm working from the basis that the
club gets Inu's charge downgraded on the basis that Inglis jumped into the tackle, and then Inu's good record means he plays. Unlikely? Maybe, but what the hell. Also assuming Big Sam is still out.

I don't see Des picking this side, but it's my attempt at addressing the problems we all see - Williams not reaching his potential, and a general lack of creativity in attack.
Maybe Inu's flair and a wide running Williams shakes it all up for the better? If not, KK is on the bench and we can reshuffle back to the conventional setup.

1. Barba
2. Brown
3. Morris
4. Williams
5. Perrett
6. Inu
7. Reynolds
8. Tolman
9. Ennis
10. Tapau
11. Pritchard
12. Jackson
13. Eastwood

Fûck me dead some people must think picking an NRL team is the same as picking it on playstation or something. You don't just stick players wherever you like just to fit them in the team. Players out of position weakens the whole team

Maybe T-Rex should be dropped since we're playing his old side.
The way he's going for us, instead of tackling his former side, he'll probably hug and kiss them to death!!

Goodwin had a good game against us on the weekend.

Maybe this is just what T-Rex needs.

Don't think so. The difference is that Goodwin was told that he was free to go (not needed) and therefore had a point to prove where SHE-REX was wanted by Manly but we offered more....no point to prove to his old club.
