That's an interesting side... I think idris will end up in the forwards at some stage, and quite frankly, his runs last night were stronger than the other forwards.

I also think that Benny Roberts would go well in the centres. He's got great D, good step, good pace and very strong with ball in hand. Not a bad side.

Same team. But replace Nanai (confirmed broken leg on footy show) with HOPEFULLY Goodwin

Bryson in for Nanai, and if Halatau is fit then bring him in for Warburton. Other than that we started to fire there in the second half which was promising (at stages)

Agree with giving Ennis a rest with the kicking duties though, he has enough work to do and would be absolutley ratsh*t. Hand the tee too Goodwin.

Don't like the bench. Warburton doesn't offer us any impacy when he comes on. The lack of skill level and mibility in the forwards is a real concern. Too much one out stuff by the forwards.

Wonder what we do if Ennis gets suspended. Halatau would have been the backup option but he prob won't be back. I seem to remember Blake Green not playing that well at hooker. Do we put Roberts there? Stagg? Or call up Nathan Smith?

They had 4 quality players out injured. This was a game we should have won. If you're enthusiasm is down first game of the year then that's a real concern. So I don't think its a stupid thread. Yes its one game but it's a game we should have won.

Same team but with JTK instead of Nanai...Hickey was a waste of a bench spot imo.

Stand-in winger Heka Nanai was the Bulldogs' only worry, with a damaged fibia. so i guess Goodwin is back or JTK is the replacement

Idris has enough defensive issues at centre... why put him up the middle?
Not saying i agree with shifting Idris to the backrow at this stage.

However as a former Centre turned backrower myself it is alot easier to defend inside.

You have to make alot more tackles but they are much easier to read.

Centre is the hardest position to defend in the game. Quick players & room to move, stepping everywhere. If you don't read it well you can be made to look ordinary in the centres.
