The spoon is ours. I agree that Flanagan is rubbish but Giving Averillo minutes at one is much more important for next season than any desperate attempt to avoid the spoon.

There's absolutely no point in shifting Jake to fullback right now, would be an absolute disaster. The halfback gets all the quality ball in our current system so all your going to do moving him now is limit his opportunities with the ball and put him under massive defensive pressure.

Move him to fullback after a season training for the role and when a better option at halfback is available. Baz also needs to tweak the system so we're not overly reliant on a halfback and the 6 and 1 aren't basically useless for 90% for the game.
