Would love to see this starting lineup in NSW Cup:

01. Joash Papali'i
02. Blake Wilson
03. Eli Clark
04. Bronson Xerri
05. Jeral Skelton
06. Blake Taaffe
07. Joseph O'Neill
08. Jack Todd
09. Jake Turpin
10. Lipoi Hopoi
11. Harry Hayes
12. Kurtis Morrin
13. Harrison Edwards

Would allow our youngsters to improve with some experience around them.
Pretty dominant looking cup side.
I've got xerri pushing for a first grade spot, if not round one, early rounds. Ultimately depends who plays fullback.

Assuming kautoga isn't there means you've got him in first grade? Or on your bench? He impressed me tonight.

I'd probably swap Edwards in to first grade and bring Liam knight to Cup.

Hayward to come off the bench for Turpin, he is very sharp.

No Xerri?? What are you on, your bonkers mate hahah !!!
To be fair its hard to pick the backs right now. Even Skelton, Papalii and Wilson are also worthy and no way they fit.

Wilson could fit if Kiraz starts @ right centre which is possible. Don't think Skelton is in the picture though.

Fair call boss, I guess we just pick whom we want to see in there lol, up to me I would have Taaffe at FB and Xerri at 4. Since it’s not up to us I guess we will see what team is picked game one. However it goes we looked a shit tone better today in 80 mins than we have looked the last few seasons. So regardless.. it’s all positives really and it’s a good headache /experiment for Coach to have.

Kiraz makes a lot of metres and helps our forwards. He’s basically our only back who does that besides Skelton. I’d have him way ahead of Wilson.

Wilson makes more metres than Fox AND offers similar attacking threat, problem solved.

Well Ciraldo certainly has some headaches. And good ones at that. Some boys stepped up tonight and could force there way into the team.

Xerri, Wilson, Posamuli (prop from dolphins), Hughes. All played well tonight. Papali’i even had a blinder, you’d be tempted to chuck him in and just let him play footy.

Based of what we witnessed tonight I'd put Burton at #14. Some would say drop him, but I say bench him and see how he reacts and what his body language is like while he's off the field.
Burton plays alot like Jack wighton. Just needs to run and use that big body.. he does have a habit of not straightening up and running his outside players out of room. I think he will always be divisive because all 6s are a bit different and some people like creative 6s, others are happy with running 6s
The type of 6 that needs to be carried by a dominant 7.

I'm just stating the facts. Kiraz going to be breaking his back again with Taaffe and Fox part of the back 3.
Taaffe had over 100 metres today which is a good effort but hopefully Tracey is the 1.

77/110m we're kick return metres though so it's essentially all pre contact. Tracey easily out does Taaffe tonight imo.

Was impressed with Skelton.
Disappointed with knight, taafe and Burton.
I'm hoping that Burton was just taking it easy to avoid injury given it was a trial.

Also keen to watch O'Neil, papalii, Eli Clarke, Hayward continue to develop in cup/flegg, some real talent there.

Haven't watched the second half yet other than the highlights, so this may evolve..
Hayward outplayed Mahoney…plays more direct and allows forwards to get over the advantage line

Xerri to take Tracey’s spot by mid season. Jack Todd can’t develop soon enough.

Salmon starts, Curran rotates whether he likes it or not.
If he don't like it he can play up front whilst Salmons on or we fuck him off to the Dragons or Tigers.
Salmon will be a beast for us. The new Wade Graham
