Not a bad line up at all. I like the idea of Jono Wright in the centre with Josh Morris on the left wing. But there's one thing I'd love to happen though, and that's to get into Barba's head that its okay to catch a high ball. He's got to learn that its not illegal, its not immoral and they haven't put a tax on it (yet).

Barba at Fullback??? a big worry, even the ones he caught he was lucky to hang on to them and I don't think it is confidence, I think it is called Ticka / Balls !!!

One good thing bout having JD as coach is he tells him to atleast try and doesnt matter what the outcome is JUST TRY.

Round 1 team for 2012....

01. Barba
02. Turner
03. Lafai
04. Morris
05. Wright
06. Reynolds
07. Hodkinson
08. Tolman
09. Ennis

12. Halatau
13. Stagg

14. Romelo
15. Kasiano
16. Taupau
17. Tim Browne

18. Daniel Finucane

Other options-
* Josh Jackson
* Corey Payne
* Greg Eastwood
* Bryson Goodwin
* Trent Cutler
* Grant Millington
* Kris Keating

This is my Round 1 team if everyone is fit. 18th man Finucane. I still dont think Eastwood is as damaging and still looks VERY fat and slow. Guys like Payne, Goodwin and Josh Jackson will be in the mix in 2012. We should really only keep Keating for depth i think. Reynolds and Romelo could swap at stages at number 6? Or romelo can just come on as a running forward.

I like this team however if Stagg isn't No.13 he shouldn't be there at all. He is not a bench player.

The most versatile and dangerous team

1. Barba
2. Turner
3. Morris
4. Lafai
5. Lett
6. Romelo
7. Hodkinson
8. Tolman
9. Ennis
10. Graham
11. Pritchard
12. Payne
13. Halatau

14. Eastwood
15. Reynolds
16. Taupau / Browne / Millington / Paea
17. Kasiano

108475. Keating

+ Turner, Lett and Barba - Covering injuries at full back. All three have pace and backup players making a break.
+ Taupau, Browne, Millington, Paea - pending form. Can cover injuries at prop / second row / lock. All have decent offloads, and are semi-mobile players.
+ Eastwood and Kasiano deserve their bench spot. One specialist damaging prop, one second row/prop with an offload.
+ Reynolds - Covering injuries in halves or hooker. will add spark and X Factor from the bench.

Stagg - lacks attack.
Goodwin & Wright - have their flaws.

Yeah i got him there simply because he will be in the side....Halatau deserves more minutes and is a better 13 imo so if Stagg has to be there then bench at the best.

I dont know if DALE Finucane or Josh Jackson will be ready for first grade next year, especially if its going to be at the expense of an international player like Eastwood..

EAstwood didnt have have a proper offseason with his injuries, and in the last couple of weeks he has been playing like his normal self

Why would you have Kasiano on the bench?? this young bloke had a terrific game on Friday night, I believe he will be another Petero if given a bit more time, he is big, strong, can off load and hits very hard with his hit ups + defensively it is like hitting a brick wall.
No one talks too much about him (like Petero) but be is something special as a big man, he is a player we need to keep for a long time just like Andrew Ryan.
Can you imagine him and the Pommie? they will be something to build a team around.
