Tickets for the 2009 Carnegie World Club Challenge between Leeds Rhinos and Manly Sea Eagles at Elland Road on Sunday 1st March (ko 6pm) are selling fast.

There's a whole raft of deals to benefit families and season ticket holders which are available from both the RFL Ticket Office and Leeds Rhinos Ticket Office.

Leeds Rhinos and Leeds United season ticket holders able to receive a 20% discount on £30 seats up until 5pm on Tuesday 30th December, subject to availability.

Season ticket holders for all other engage Super League clubs are also able to get a 20% discount on £30 seats until 5pm on Tuesday 30th December through the RFL Ticket Office, subject to availability.

Tickets for the world title clash start from £20 for adults and £10 for concessions, with

Families can also save money by purchasing a £40 family ticket for two adults and two children.

As with the two previous Carnegie World Club Challenge fixtures to be held at Elland Road, demand to see the best two clubs sides in the world is expected to be huge, so supporters are encouraged to purchase early.

Phil Williams, the RFL's Marketing Manager, said: "This is always one of the fixtures of the year as the engage Super League Champions and NRL Telstra winners come head-to-head. Not only is this a big night for the Leeds Rhinos but also a major event for the city of Leeds as it's not often that it gets to stage a world title match.

"As a result we're expecting a big demand for tickets and supporters are advised to buy sooner rather than later, not only to take advantage of some of the special offers available but also to avoid disappointment.

Leeds Rhinos are aiming to become the first team in the 33 year history of the match to retain the world crown.

I hope Manly get bashed up. Don't care if they win or lose. As long as we win round 1.

Nah cause the trial matches are being played before the WCC and usually in pre seasons before it the WCC would kick off RL for the year but they stretched it back a bit to make it in line with our kick off and the ESL season kick off too.

They haven't won a real comp since 1975 and just two since 1950.

Newtown are still around. They've had to take on the Roosters SG Ball side......
