How they suspended the fine is beyond belief & ultra convenient for East’s
To be honest I’ve been losing interest in the code over the years and only watch our dogs play these days, both referees & judicial system reek corruption.
No wonder crowds haven’t grown since the eighties.

Fittler said what? So what if Tedesco is the so called best player in the game? Whatever flaw there is in his running technique is his and his alone. Protect players yes, but honestly why make the tackler accountable for something that the bloke carrying the ball does? If we are to follow Fittler's advice we would have players with about two dozen different tackling styles in one to make sure that contact which would not occur in the normal scheme of things does not happen.

NRL just doesn't have the pull anymore. Yes our club is down atm, and things look grim, but there's little incentive to look forward to more of the same tripe served up by Vlad and co.

The fabric of the game and the competition has changed and not for the better.

Great post. Some peckerhead on one of the shows on Fox said the same thing "a tackle like that could put one of the game's best players on the sidelines for a long time". Who gives a shit who is on the receiving end, if it was a player from a lowly club the media don't hardly mention the incident.

Robbo was 100% correct, that's why Chiddy was sacked for the rest of the weekends games and that's why the fine was suspended. It's farked up he gets fined at all for speaking the truth.

Fair enough he speaks the truth......... but all the others who have spoken the truth over time, and there have been many from all clubs, do get fined. The NRL either lets coaches have their say without being censored or with the fear of a fine, or they simply don't make them attend interviews after the game. Better still the guys who officiate the game get the decisions right and there would be absolutely no need for debate over the matter.
