He's signed till the end of 2016 with the Titans.

He wants to play fullback but has only played like 11 games in his entire career there (and scored 5 tries), compared to the majority of his career as a winger (88 games and 46 tries).

So his strike rate on the wing is actually better than at fullback.

contracts don't seem to mean much these days and you have to allow for 5 games @ playing a new position where he's disadvantaged in those stats. imo he could be a better FB than we've got at the club for not a huge price tag.

My thought is he is not that much better then Perrett.

Sure he is arguable slightly better. Though do we do that then waive the white flag on Sione for 2016, or do we stick with Perrett for another year and go hard at Sione and if we miss him we sign someone else.

That's if Des doesn't see B Morris as the 2015 fullback.
