I never idolised any players.
They are just footy players from the eastern seaboard
Idolising is how peopel find themselves in hell
However if this is about favourite players growing up, Ben Sherwin was my favourite. Rod Silva also my favourite. I also thought Luke macdougall was underrated when with us
Arana Timana excited me too, so did Daniel Conn.

I have fond memories as a boy being in the crowd at Belmore which rose as one every time he took the ball up to the opposition like some kind of deranged animal.

I used to wear my "Robbo Wig" (thanks Mum) at home in our backyard games.

Never have I seen a tougher footballer.

Haven't heard an update as to his health of late - hope he is doing ok.

I met Steve Gearin's daughters about 15 years ago when they were students at Lidcombe Campus of Sydney Uni. I worked on the IT Help desk. Alicia did Speech Pathology and Renee did Physiotherapy.
