It was also the fact he had lippo hippo next to him. I have never seen him play right edge in his life. Mainly seen him as a prop.
He is a prop. No idea why he was playing on the edge.

Mann at 6
Sexton at 7
I am sure Mann played some 6 for Storm and Knights
Burton needs to be in centres with Critta.
Tracey needs to be fullback with Taafe out.
I totally agree!!! I think we are killing Burtons career and confidence persisting with him at 6. His best footy was at Penrith in the centres.

Put Burton into the centers, that's where he will be at his best.

As long as Burton isn’t part of it I don’t care who, he’s had more than enough time to prove his worth.

i won’t discount the times when he’s done crazy stuff but I would pick consistently good > crazy stuff any day of the week.

The truth is he isn’t going anywhere away from the halves, hes cost the club way to much money and time.

Burton is finished as a half with us....
Put him in the centres or try and offload him....
I know it's only been 1 game but he has gone backwards every year with us and after yesterday nothing has changed with him....
He has potential to be a 5/8 in his career but it's not going to happen at the bulldogs...
Have u ever thought that he has gone backwards due to having poor quality around him including inept props and an inept halfback?

BBO halfback? He definitely will add some spark but don’t know if he has the kicking game and control we need to direct a team around the park.

The way I see it, our best players long term are critta, burton (as a centre), Tracey, Xerri - get them in the side together and work around that. Eg. Critta 1, burton & xerri centres, Tracey @ 6 - then pick a 7 that works with that. At least Tracey might unlock the outside players consistently (can’t be worse than Burton at 6 surely)

They still won
I was proud of that win, that’s a pretty hot young Parra team, but our young talent stood firm and got the job done ..

I was impressed with Bailey Haywood, thought he changed the game when he came on ..

I watched Sexton pretty closely, he played well but the big blokes like to run at him, he’ll need Curran or Crichton defending close with him if he’s to come back into 1st grade ..

My team for R.2 would be: taking into account that the fox is out.
(1) Chriten. (we need to strengthen our spine first of all).
(2) Skelton.
(3) Xerri.
(4) Burton. ( Penrith wanted him to play in the centers) If he dosent want to for us he can look for another club.
(5) Kiraz.
(6) Hutcheson. (can kick the ball, dont know if Tracy is fit).
(7) Sexton.
(8) King.
(9) Mahony.
(10) Poasa.
(11) Kickau.
(12) Preston.
(13) Curan.
(14) Hayward, (I realy like what I've seen from him in the cup on Sunday).
(15) Hughes.
(16) Katonga.
(17) Salmon. (can play in the backs if needed).
