Had a quick read through NRL stats.
Four Bulldog names feature high in the error counts.
Cotric makes a lot of errors. A lot.
Elliot is 3rd in Nrl for missed tackles.
Avarillo is high for ineffective tackles.
Hetherington leads the Nrl for penalties against him.

That’s a lot of players from one team making the wrong impact.

Cotrics’ errors are in line with the rate of errors of most leading wingers, remember high rate of errors because of being pushed into touch, defending kicks etc. Averillo tackle efficiency not that bad compared to a lot of other halves as well.

Be interesting to see who’s being continually pinged for offside, which the 6-agains are often blown for

When your stone motherless last, you make desperate choices and push passes etc in an attempt to force positive change, it of course is higher risk.

Exemptions for Cotric and Averillo.... Elliot and Hetherington on the other hand, it’s stock standard for dropped balls and/or penalties.

For me personally Cotric gets a bit of a bad wrap here due to his contract price. His attacking stats are still really strong considering our position on the table. Last I checked he was way up on tackle breaks/busts and still
makes great metres.

Would be even more metres if he was given more ball earlier on. Hoppa wouldn’t pass.

These stats can be misleading. For jbtance wingers usually have a lit more carry’s than any other position this day. Be interesting to see % rates of these errors rather than amount

Hetherington is a marked man. He is being watched far more than any other player in the game & gets no benefit of the doubt.

That missed tackle by Elliott & Kotoa really says it all about those two.

The type of error and when in the game is what really matters.

I think those two have been by far the worst in the team this season.
