Who is it exactly who supports the Bulldogs on this site?

I always thought this was a site for Bulldogs supporters not haters. It is increasingly clear I was wrong.

Last Friday week our team blew itself apart. It was a combination of passion, stupidity and bad luck but the bottom line is we lost 5 players all of them stars. That's 5 from 13. We were always on a hiding to nothing yesterday and yes we got beaten and yes we can and will do a lot better but for God's sake give the team time to adjust. We don't need to talk about sackings or new signings this is our blitz. We need to pull together to get through this not harass the team and supporters.

Any of you who are supporters please let your voices be heard. Don't let the haters have the stage. I support the Dogs. I know things are tough and we may lose a few games while we adjust but we will adjust and we will come back. Well done those players from yesterday. In a day of being well beaten there were positives. We did dominate yardage. Just need to get ourselves organised with the new players knowing the set plays and each others' games and we will soon be in the winners circle.

It's hard to be positive at the moment.

Ignoring how we had players out, we started the game against the Drags with a lot of heart and put on a tonne of pressure. This all resulted in nothing, then we give away one penalty and they score.

We defended horribly, and attacked even worse and our halves were on the park. They literally have no vision, it seems we have no set plays, no direction.

I love the team a megashitload, but right now I am pretty worried about what is going on. Things will improve when our players come back, sure. But we still won't go anywhere with halves that have no imagination or sight.

Iv'e paid for 6 Category 1 memberships, I've also supported the club for over 20 years passionately during the good times and the bad times. Having a opinion or being dissapointed and airing that disspaointment doesnt mean im a hater! yes im a big critic of Trent Hodkinson but i havent just been saying he is a disspaointment at best because of yesterday's result, he's been consistently shit for years now. We as supporters have a right to criticise our team without you and others pointing fingers and labelling us haters.

most of us...if not all of us on this website are club members and have paid hundreds if not thousands of dollars over the years on memberships / memoribilia and anything else 2 do with the dogs and have a right to voice our frustration on a forum which is designated 2 do so...

We scored 1 try and it was an assist from a forward. I don't give a shit how many players were missing, our SOO halves (LOL) failed terribly in every situation. LOL ... state of origin forwards! 10 years from now people will still be skaing there heads in disgust. These two hacks are barely up to NRL standard let alone state selection, Lucky Hayne was there.

Pass it to TRex and expect him to run over all 13 opposing players including there coach, onfield trainer and mascot?


Put a chip kick up to the corner and hope for a mistake when the opposing team is coming out of there red zone?

our halfback passing the ball to our forwards on the 5th to put in a kick?

Well our attacking structure is terrible also, and that was designed around our 2 halves in Reynolds and Hodko. Our halves stand far to wide, they play as extra centres. They also receive the ball far to deep and then rarely ever engage the defensive line. We rarely ever have players in motion either. Pur halves should be receiving the ball at first receiver and our forwards should be providing options running off/behind/beside our halves while they run direct and stop the defence sliding and force them into making a decision. Pur halves should also be good enough to throw a firm pass at the runner and not these stupid lollypop passes that the defence can adjust too. Atm we have halves receiving the ball with very little options, but they they make it worse by either running sideways or shuffling before they even engage the defence.

Our whole attack needs a restructure around players that are not Reynolds or Hodko. Moses has shown good signs as a half, he looks to involve the players around him into the game. Im not saying he will be a superstar but he is well worth developing. There were halves galore available pre-season and we came up empty handed, instead we chose to sign Kas on big money who has been lucky to play half a season in recent years and plays extremely limited minutes when actually fit. The club should have been heavily involved looking for someone to partner Moses.

It was always going to happen, last year those "bulldog fans" rid us off as well and now when they see the shit hit the fan they give up,
if theres any lesson to learn from last year is to never give up on the bulldogs!
