I expect "vast improvement" and no less

We know the short falls in the roster re halves and frontrow.

However there should be enough talent in our squad to win more games and show a "vast improvement" in 2024 compared to 2023....IF the players and coaching staff can get themselves to their best performance targets AND THEY SHOULD. Nothing less than that is acceptable. Our roster is "comparable" to other teams (other than the Top 4). Where we lose out in halves controlling the team, we gain by having a great backline. Where we lose out with frontrow, we have a great backrow and lock.

Of course halves and fronts are extremely important but the 6,7, 10, 8 we do have must step up from 2023 form and the coach must ensure they do, along with the whole team.

I agree we should see vast improvement…competitive side and attitude shifts.

Probably a max of 12th, but really not fussed with ladder finishes more focused on playing an exciting brand of footy. Problems are still the same, halves are a HUGE problem, hooker coming off a horrid year and the FB whoever it is isn't proven at NRL level. This all tells it might be another year of waiting.

Its a blatant jab at us. They even made us last even though the % tied with Wests Tigers. Usually if the % is the same you then sort by alphabetical. We also finished higher than tigers the last 2 seasons. They just wanted to write us as last at all costs lol. They dont realise it that they actually make it easier on us. All year if we are even 16th we will be able to tell them to get fked coz we are exceeding thier prediction, however we are going.

Ciraldo needs to print it off and stick this around the facilities. We need to siege and ambush teams. Ciraldo needs to fire up these players Ricky Stuart/Bellamy style.

There's nothing wrong with putting us to finish last, it's a very realistic chance. Very close if not the same for the other bottom teams. Last or 3rd last does it really matter anyways. We haven't been a team to exceed expectations over past years so I wouldn't get your hopes up until there's evidence of doing so.

Our forward pack is very bad in the middle. Realistically outside the eight, maybe 15-17th.

Bottom 8... our middles are weak, Mahoney, Curran and King the only certainties...our spne is weak Chrighton/Taffe not established NRL fullbacks, Burton is not leading the attack or Hutchinson not an established NRL six, Sexton/ Hutchinson not establised NRL 7s. Leaving Mahoney and Turpin as NRL 9s.
