I tried to remain optimistic all week, but as soon as all that pre match souths bullshit rolled out i knew we were very very long odds.
I know right - i mean it was like according to channel 9 and whomever else there was only 1 freaken team playing in the grand final - so disrespectful

I think we simply ran into a team that was just a bit to good for us. The two late tries made it look worse when they had already beaten us at 20-6. I felt we simply ran into a team that was better than us and went out and took it. We should be better next year and we will have to be if we want to go one step further.

I thought we started both half's very poorly, putting ourselves in a position to defend repeat sets took its toll on our energy. I believe we will be a different football team once we get 2 big fast wingers and a specialist FB, I know we are going over old ground here however in saying that I don't believe this is the lone issue that cost us the game, our kicking game was also poor, why kick to the finest FB in the world on the full? I had visions on whet GI did to the Broncos when Barbie kicked to him on the full.
Well done Moses M'Bye!! this young fella did himself and the club proud in a grand final at that!!!
Well done James Graham, Congratulations to the Bunnies, too big too strong on the night.
Roll on 2015.

Last time we met souths we put up a fight, this time was like we were playing for the spoon.
Dumb Statement!! if I remember correctly it was 14-6 with 15 minutes to go, a couple of what I thought were lucky tries to the Bunnies and that was the ball game.
You Sir are an idiot making that statement, I hope it was just an emotional one? if that was the case then I forgive you.

Sellout refs, and a poor gameplan. That's what went wrong

I wish you had sent us your game plan prior to the start to see if you had the solution lol if you are prepared to criticise then must also be prepared to offer a solution.
Did you ever think that just maybe the Rabbits were just too good on the night?? I am proud of what our boys did in 2014, from 7 to GF, whats wrong with that??

When we were bringing it out of our line our backs were struggling and doing most of the bringing out . Where as South's forwards were bringing it out from their line and strongly as they still had lots of stamina from not having to defend much

speed baby. We lack speed at 9 7 and 1. We don't have creative 6 or 7 either. We have a bad habit of going sideways or one out in the forwards. Just lacked that balance in the end.

What I feel our problems were, and we had them all year aside from our great streak from 4-10, is that no matter how the game goes we still try to grind it out.

We didn't go and variate our game plan when we needed to.

T rex cost us delxuxe
What BS. He was one of our best IMO.

What our main problem was last night is Souths were better.

We were without Ennis, with little time to plan being without him, no Kasiano, an injured Hodkinson, an injured Morris. Souths played 1 less match to get to the GF, which is huge. Despite that we were in the game until 71 minutes. But Souths were better.

Souths finished 4 places above us in the main season, and were 1.30 vs 3.15 to win the match. Im ok with the loss myself, even though of course i would have liked to win.

I will be cheering and looking forward to next season even if we buy nobody in the offseason.

Because im a bulldogs fan, not a bandwagoner.

Don't you understand what's happening?

You can make a grand final and be in it for 71 minutes, but if you lose it's obvious you need to sack an entire team and start again because the previous playing weeks suddenly count for nothing and the entire team is shit. /sarcasm

I think belief is what lost it for us. Channel mine awarded the trophy last week and I think deep down some of our boys bought into the hype. Before the game Russell crowe ringing the bell etc it was all about souths and that is going to hurt your confidence. Every paper 9 out of 10 articles were souths and how they will win. Channel nine glorified every chance they got and betting paying 3 to 1 I'm all for the underdog and backs against the wall but that was overkill. Our boys played well considering.

in my opinion the loss of michael ennis was just to big to over come, his work rate and his skill and good defense all a major loss.

poor ball control early, our halves i didnt think were to bad, most of the kicks were deliberate and accurate, slower softer kicks made it difficult for greg inglis to get any momentum, take a look at the only time it was a hard kick, we had a staggered line inglis went straight through.

i think the team played well played to our strengths bunnies were just to good

Not just Des.

Aside from, you know, Lichaa, McInally, Loko and Rona, Cleal hasn't signed anyone for next year!

And what about them fullbacks?

It's Raelene's fault our backline isn't Hayne at fullback, GI and Jennings in the centres with Boyd and Milford playing wing.

We were totally outplayed. In every aspect of the game. We were poor in discipline and execution.
