what is going on with this website? every second day there is a problem . we must be the laughing stock of many club supporter sites. how about an upgrade?? we' re turning into a chicken outfit.

They had an announcement a week or so ago that these changes were going to occur (scheduled maintenance I think).

Hopefully they are complete now.

From memory (and chatter):
There was a change to new servers not that long ago, change was relatively painless and things were going well. Then everything took a major nosedive.

Not sure 100% what the problem was, but I've been unable to access the site from 3 different ISPs since about this time last week.

Hi guys,

The new post function, as well as the search are currently disabled as they have been a major contributor to the downtime we've experienced in the last month. At the moment we've fixed all known issues and bugs. Our aim is to prune a lot of the old threads to reduce the load on the server. Once we finish that we will reactivate the search and newpost function.

The Kennel has a massive, server-intensive database, so when a problem arises it's generally quite difficult to repair and maintain. We really appreciate your patience.

We are currently working on The Kennel Mobile application and hope to have it ready for you later in the year. We also have plans to move The Kennel onto a large dedicated server to improve speed and uptime once the season is over.
