At this point in time i don't see us improving much at all next year. We can't expect to be any better without signing more than a 5/8, a winger and a centre when our forwards are shithouse and get pumped every week, we're 1 half short of a first grade pairing, Flanno isn't up to scratch and Averillo isnt there yet and may not even get there. And we have no hooker. Deitz hasn't shown hes going to be the next Harry Grant, he's better than Katoa but we still need a proper first grade specialist hooker after we fill out the pack with blokes who actually go forward and give the team something to play off. JAC is a top tier player but he cant change games for us, and Burton won't be able to do anything if he's still inside his own 40 on the 5th tackle either.

I think JAC and Burton are going to help our biggest issue a lot, which is x factor in attack. Im also hoping for another signing or 2 before next year, maybe a few forwards and a hooker. I don't think we need any more backs, we have plenty of them. I also include Okunbor as a back i want to see come good because he has plenty of x factor. If they can teach him to defend.....

Our backs are just starving for action at the moment because of our rookie spine. When they do get the ball they have no room to work in, they are not getting quality ball. Our halves and hooker are currently not experienced or good enough to pick out players that are in holes like better sides do

This year is disappointing - i thought bottom 4 based on roster what has been most disheartening has been the lack of defensive commitment and the contuned brain explosions by the same players as in previous years.
What can make signicant improvement in results next year - three quality forward signings, no panic buying of dumb people and coaching to show an understanding of the need to play at, and with, speed -

Okunbor he should be on the wing I reckon. His metres coming out of our own end will be so valuable. And he’s got good height. I usually like powerful centres but I reckon the gangly guys are going to prove more effective now with the pace of the game and the head high crap. They can get their arms free more easily for an offload. Campbell graham, Naden etc. next season will be better no matter what simply due to the fact we will have a few class players (Burton, the fox, cotric.)

I think Okunbor should be in our backline, where does he fit in now though with the backline we have for 22. He’s just as good as Naden. Let’s hope he stays injury free, he’s been plagued by injury the last two years

No point having x factor if your hooker gives shit service.
If we are not careful burton and JAC will become what Foran was.

All thr hopes and dreams of winning or losing was placed on foran. Rest of the team just hooed and prayed.

This is what I have at this stage if we're picking our strongest line-up (assuming we're not picking players due to what they're on in the salary cap, e.g. Flanagan, Allan). Unless we sign another fullback (which would mean moving DWZ on) I get the feeling Barrett's not happy with any of our current options (DWZ, Meaney, Allan).

Rudolf re-signed a week ago..
We should chase Afoa before he re-signs with the Warriors
If we can offload DWZ, I would try JAC at the back..
Okunbor and Allan on the wing
Shoupp and Naden in the centres
Burton and Trindall in the halves..swap Flanagan for Trindall
Deitz should be well tried at 9 by 2022..unless we can tempt Clark...Smith looks unlikely for 2022..
Afoa and Thompson up front
2nd row is up for grabs..but would look a lot better with a Capewell and RFM..
Jackson at 13 unfortunately..please someone show pity on Jacko and take him off our hands

Yeh i kind of like the idea of JAC at the back we know he has sheer pace, he is solid in every area of his game just work on the ball playing over the off season and bang, it might all go differently if as stated DWZ is moved on and someone else gets a gig.
