As far as the Vaughan case is concerned, it doesn't matter who signs him, my question is, why does the team that signs him up get penalised. If Vaughn had stayed with St Merge he cops an 8 week ban but they tore up his contract and therefore free of paying him for nothing. If the NRLol were honest and transparent (that's debatable) then they would have to decree that Vaughn has to sit out the next 8 games and can be picked up after that time period has elapsed.

If you are Paul Vaughan you've got to be questioning how a player accused of rape waiting two years for trial can still be employed by the club, while you host a bbq with players you train with every week and earn a sacking for it. raises a massive issue of double standards in my mind.

Because the dragons would have been sued for victimisation as it was alledged not convicted.

Solid team, surely we can make the top 8 with that side, our biggest issue imo is good depth to cover injuries and how long it takes combinations to gel. Fingers crossed we get these 2 signings and looking out for a genuine 9 at the same time

You can't blame them. Vaughan isn't worth anything near 800k. They just needed an excuse to sack him.

We should have done the same with Napa and got some money back. Would have been around 200K we could have used towards Vaughan paying while he's suspended.
