That is the biggest bull ive heard in my life.

Y dont the japs do some research of their own and find out that whales are at a low and dont reproduce as quick as other mammals.

And another thing, they are killing them in AUSTRALIAN waters.

If i was PM, i would send out my finest naval fleet and have them blown out of our waters.

I can assure you that the government is dead against the practice and has done all it can. Short of declaring war on Japan and actively attacking its ships at sea, we've done everything. It's really, really sad.

That's actually a myth that popped-up post-WWII. I did a lot of reading on this once, and if you do some searching around with Google, you'll probably find a lot of information on it. In a nutshell, I think the Japanese eat whale these days like never before, and all this "it's traditional" stuff is a bit of a furphy. I mean, yes, they have eaten whale in the past - but not at the levels, or with the need that they want it now.

Out of all the food in the world to choose from, they want to eat whales.
They dont care if it means extinction, they just want to delight their taste buds.
