Haha, Good question.
No doubt he would be politely asked to leave,
Security or police would be called to escort him away if he didn't leave.
fucking disaster. he is practically unsellable at this point, no club would want him without full freight. Some may not even want him at all regardless

No club want him
That's the facts of the matter.
And he has done some really shitty things yo our club that has made it such that he can't come back from it.

RFM appears to have set plenty of very high standards in his personal dedication over many years.

His job is to represent players, even if he doesn’t agree with them.

What clause in his contract did he breach by talking to Drunkfield? There is in fact a clause in NRL Contracts regarding being available to the media.

Did he even talk to him specifically about this? The Drunk, like most media, are very adept at weaselling comments from a conversation about something else entirely.

He may not have broken any clause, but he broke any trust the club had in him especially as he was club captain. Hence the reason the club must get rid of him and it will cost the club money and Ray his reputation.

Yeah I'm thinking we can't be hanging our hat on believing anything at all on what Buzzard tells the public. He is a proven liar and drama queen who manipulates what players and officials say to him with the answers to his sly questions.

I'm sure there is an issue for sure but I wouldn't be relying as gospel anything that horrid hater says.

This issue will be on-going I guess and Gus and CC have stepped it up with the (apparent) training non-presence requirement atm....even that could be just temporary so they can gauge the players attitudes without RFM around.

One thing it probably does indicate with Gus not denying this is that RFM on the outer and that Gus and CC not taking any crap any longer with indiviuals in the roster come hell or high water.

I just hope their selections and bench etc is a lot more logical and conducive to winning the game in 2024 and not as it seemed in this 2023 season of rewarding good trainers as the main selection criteria.

Do that and supporters will back them.

No info just conjecture but there must be more to the RFM situation than what has been reported.

This could be his last contract potentially if no nrl team picks him up, he might not want to go overseas. I can see this being dragged out and looking bad for us in the media

Captain powder puff is not welcome back, he is refusing to take hit ups and tackle with his shoulder. He prefers to stand like a statue when SJ runs passed him.

No doubt the media will make us look bad.
That's their special ability.
But they want to be careful.
The real truth doesn't look good for Raymond

This mess is on whoever decided to re-sign a near 30 year old, injury prone, limited impact RFM to a 3 year contract. No one else wanted him, 1 year deal with club options was all that was needed.

There’s a bucket load of assumption in that spiel, none of which is known, just wild guesses.

What do we actually know for certain?

Not farkin much, it would seem that “some poly players” asked RFM to talk to CC about training. We don’t know who the “some poly players” actually are. RFM as Club Captain is duty bound to pass the message on, that’s part of his role.

That’s pretty much it.

Did RFM complain about his personal workload? I can’t imagine that being the case, he did extras on the extras to recover from his bitch of a foot injury. He kept at it, full on, despite many set backs, and not for the first time. Complaining about his training simply doesn’t fit with his previous actions.

What we do know is RFM has a valid and enforceable contract, he is not an employee, he can not be simply fired and told to fark off. If we want to terminate his contract then there has to be grounds for us doing that. Specifically what clause in his contract did he breech? I can’t see passing on thoughts from players to coach would be remotely considered a breech.

There is more here, as many have noted.

What we know for certain, is he has been offered to anyone who will take him,he has been told not to come to work. So whatever the issue is, it is serious enough or happening often enough that it has made him unwelcome at the club. He would occupy about 1.5% of the cap if he wants to sort out the leaves in the park in front of Belmore for the next 2 years,he will be doing just that

RFM abused his standing of Club Captain to campaign for a lighter training regime - in elite professional sport, who the f### requests to take it easier at training? Especially when our training is on par with every other NRL club (just shows how much standards slipped during TBs time with his conditioning sidekick).
I am 66 years of age and go to at least 16 gym/outdoor training classes a week... a blend of HIIT; RPM; Cardio Box and Bootcamp ; plus I walk at least 30000 steps a day... every day.

I will only ask for an option to a set task if I know 100% that I am incapable of performing that set task to the utmost. I train and exercise alongside most less than half my age and to my delight I keep up. NEVER ask for the trainer to take it easy on me. Sure I have had some downtime with injury, but some rehab and rest fixes that ; the will is there and the enthusiasm strong so I won't stop.

I do know that at some stage I will have to calm down a bit and tailor things to a more moderate pace but until that day comes I go 100%.

Wow. I must be polar opposite.
I have a desk job so struggle to even hit my 6000 step target, I eat take-away every single day and about 10 times a week, I haven't been to a gym since i was 13 and never had gym membership.

I'm also thinking of slowing down. I've cut back on having beers every day but struggling to give up the fuzzy drinks.

Its a wonder I'm not over 120kgs although as I'm about to turn 46, I've noticed my metabolism slow and I've hit 95kgs...

I love sport, but I find myself puffed out after 1min and gasping for breathe. Fortunately, I don't smoke, don't have asthma and never done drugs.

I also like moonlit walks along the beach and sleep-ins on Sundays.....

This is so embarrassing for our club, Gus and Ciraldo. It’s really pathetic how they got it so wrong
Perhaps, personally I think it would be worse to continue down the wrong path for 2 more years just to "save face".

Any one defending captain powder puff is kidding themselves. I would encourage them to become lawyers, if they can mount a defence for this cream puff they can mount a defence for crooks and get paid well.

I back Gus and CC 100% on whatever action they take with RFM

They are the only ones who know the full story and no doubt they both will do the right thing by the club
That's all we can really go on atm.
