Lewis is the man. Of all the halves on the books he is the best to partner Burton unless we sign a veteran like Pearce or similar.

He is like Gamble for whatever reason when he is in the team there is more grit and hunger to win.

tbaz needs to cut out the rubbish attacking system and let the shackles off the players.

Lewis is Maloney without the ability. Doesn't give a shit and does what he wants, gives 100% even if he has fucked up 100 times previously. He plays for himself though and the team will never get anywhere with him.

Yeah, forget the Penrith system.... be a coach, a real coach, make your own system with what you have and make it the Bulldogs system. TBaz you've got nothing to lose.
Barrett needs to be a halves coach, if he can’t do what he specialised in, then we have a problem.

We need a ‘General’ I think with a younger coach a leader will help the club short and long term it will help Burton become the next ‘General’
I think it’s something that was under estimated when we had Kimmorley as a leader who then made further leaders out of players like Ennis and Morris. I think Jackson would also be assisted by another voice on the field to steer the ship.
I would go for Pearce.

Seriously I'd let Flanagan and Wakeham go. I'd keep Lewis on a 1 year deal then search far and wide here and the UK for answers to our hooker and halfback problem. It's not easy. Saw Stuart on NRL360 tonight saying Raiders have been looking far and wide for a halfback over the last month...he effectively was saying it consumes him every day. If I was a young halfback I wouldn't go to Raiders. Stuart expects every half to be as good as him. It's a bar not many can jump over. We have the same problem....finding a 1st grade standard halfback.

Go after Benji for one year. Maybe the thought of finishing with his brother will get him here

That is a real sore point for me. Foran hardly played a game for us, and the few he did, he went off injured. Since he's been at Manly, he is suddenly fit and able to turn up game after game. I'm wondering whether he was gaming us for an early release.
What?
Foran wanted to stay.
The club showed him the door.

Yeah he only played 40 out of a possible 72 games.
So no doubt he was injured a lot.
But be honest the club made the decision, not Foran.
