Well it's official here is the Warriors nsw cup team. It will be interesting to see how this pans out especially considering so many dogs fans want Des to do this to underperformers.

Well, we all found out the real reason those players got dropped and it had nothing to do with the coach. Blame the pill bottle!

I don't buy into this players have lost faith in the coach. Sounds more like a bunch of players trying to blame their shit house performances on anyone but themselves.
Agreed. Bad enough having players that are too lazy to put in a decent shift so the last thing we need is these sorts of players.

Lazy, feckless, arrogant, bro culture.
No team from New Zealand will ever win the NRL. It requires too much effort.

Seems it does not only apply to the footy field.......

The beach is New Zealand's favourite playground, but the 'she'll be right' Kiwi attitude and a lack of water safety education can be a deadly mix for beach-goers.

Surf life savers and paramedics are treating more people for neck and back pain, and cracked vertebrae after falling victim to powerful waves.

On the weekend of January 23-24 the Auckland Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called to four separate incidents where swimmers suffered from moderate to serious injuries after they were dumped by the surf.
Surf Life Saving Northern Region chief executive Matthew Williams says a lack of water safety education and the laid-back Kiwi attitude are big factors that can prompt dangerous water incidents.

He says middle-aged Kiwi men had a tendency to underestimate water risks.

It's important for swimmers to understand water and wave conditions, he says.

"It's the relaxed attitude that Kiwis have - put the towel down and jump in the water without really assessing [the conditions] they're getting into."

Williams says the best thing a beach swimmer can do is recognise the water conditions and educate themselves on water safety.

"If you are unsure, ask the lifeguards on the beach, it's a team effort".

National Life Savers service manager Allan Mundy says common injuries from waves are dislocated shoulders or elbows, as well as neck and back pain.
