Fucken oath, its ridiculous. We need him with all the injuries and his stats in this game were perfectly fine.
0 errors and penalties gained decent metres etc...
think its the first game ive seen where he hasnt given a penalty, or a dumb play. As you said, we have injured players and he did his job.

Waddell is solid depth should struggle to get a game when we get troops back. Davey might surprise a few once he gets cleared to pay.
T Baz talked Waddell up, as he did with Flanagan comparing him to Cleary LOL, and wouldn’t be surprised if we are paying him huge overs as was the case with all T Baz signings.

Difference between Preston and Waddell is night and day. Preston must have broken or bent the line 5 or 6 times and finished that try really well. Waddell just doesn’t have the skill set or smarts but he can be a good fill in here and there
Waddell is a squad player, a next man up who can do a job. Just don't play him in wet weather, his hands will let the team down.

His lack of errors and penalities have been trending in a good way for some time.

Works his ass off.
Exactly and he is durable and a big enough body, other than suspension plays nearly every week.
Has played 80 mins at prop for us in the past too.
Does a decent job plus who else we gonna play Hoffman? LOL
Some fans get the hate on too hard.

Waddell put in a good performance yesterday played half the game and ran for over 130m and made 20 odd tackles with no stuff ups.

We all shit on him but you can’t dispute that he can do a good job as a benchie sometimes. Last night he had around 15 runs for 150m iirc. With our forward depth being tested I’m not surprised at all he still gets picked.

Edit: Actual stats from NRL.com are 14 runs, 135m, 53 pcm. That’s good numbers for a bench forward.
And 22 tackles, 0 errors or pens, in 43 minutes. He got more run metres than Preston who was out there for 76 minutes. In fact the only forward to get more run metres was King, who was absolutely immense.

If we should be worried about anyone making stupid errors it’s Sutton, how many times has he dropped the ball /given away a penalty?
