I have NFI if this is even in the right section but meh.

I've heard that if I want to use my NZ vodafone in Australia, that I have to buy an Australian sim card?

But I've also heard that it just switches over to the network over there and that's that.......

HALP!?

Sims here cost $2 or $10, for vodaphone red sim. cheap cheap cheap. Ask mitch the biznitch. Or Elise the neice.

get international roaming activated on your current sim.
go into a store and ask them to do it, its free

otherwise when u come over buy a 2 dollar sim and use that.
with 29 dollars credit.

dont go into any phone store and ask for global roaming to be turned on.

you will get a big fat "nope, call so and so to do it".

at least thats what we do ffs dont get paid to put global roaming on your ****house phones.

i work for voda but i hate it
the only perks is they pay for my phone bill and i have make more money on the side selling the phones i steal.
+ commission + tix to the new phone launches.

so how you go about getting passed imei searches, purchase orders, stocktake etc?

i usually take it before we stock count it.when it gets delivered, it doesnt go through to our system until we scan it onto our system.

so when your purchase orders have blanks no one chases it up? we get hounded hard.

our store is the biggest in NSW.
there is no chance of chasing up everything we lose.

and we alway lie on stock take counts and if not we say we opened it and put it in the display cabinents
the manager also doesnt care. we rack in the money from sales.

i didn't have to get my sim changed over tbh.

he just said top it up and turn it on... just as i thought.
