Update to Kennel Mobile App

I use the App on iPhone, I don't really have any problems with it to be honest.

Same mate. No problems, just doesn't seem fully functional ie: not being able to upload images and not being able to see ratings other than 'like'.
Would be great if an update was planned and I'd even kick in a few bucks if it needed it, but hey - first world problems. Cheers.

Yep that's about all I have also mate, reading wise no real drama.
 
Well one thing I don't like about the app which is why I stopped using it, is because there are no notifications like you get on the web.

You get PM notices, but only in the app - there’s definitely no push notices.

But there’s dark mode - so it’s way ahead of its time in some respects! :-)

Does the app get the little red notifications that we get on the web though when someone quotes us?

Don’t think so but can’t say 100%.
It’s more obvious when a thread moves higher that there’s new comments, but not sure much more than that.

Thats all I get on my samsung...probably lucky cos I miss a lot lol.
 
I've never bothered downloading the app because I prefer the convenience of tab browsing. And to an extent it's just a minor pain in the rectum switching between apps as opposed to switching tabs. If it doesn't offer any additional benefits I'll probably not bother getting the app.
 
I use the Kennel app, works perfectly fine for its purpose.
 
How do you grey out threads that have been read? I used to be able to do it before the update. That option seems to be missing from the settings.
 
I don't use The Kennel app at all... however my understanding is Apple users don't get the notifications fully due to issues with the OS and Xenforo, not the apps issue itself.

On a side note the app is all thanks to @Nash :grinning:
