Flanagan was all at sea when we had the Cowboys on their own line. He had no idea how to create an attacking play, and either died with the ball, or just threw it and hoped. His defence was good.
Reed kills our attack time and time with bad options…. And as a hooker it’s his job to defend in the middle. It’s definitely not his job to miss 10 tackles in a single game…. How you can defend him after the dross he served up today is completely beyond me lol.
If Flanagan, and to a lesser extent Burton, actually had a set and wanted the ball in his hands to control play instead of hiding behind the ruck or at dummy half, Mahoney wouldn’t be left on his lonesome trying to create something.
