UFC Heavyweight Title Fight between Champion Cain Velasquez and challenger Junior Dos Santos, left many in shock after Velasquez was defeated by Dos Santos after 1:04 of the very first round. Junior Dos Santos is the new UFC Heavyweight Champion.

I didnt expect Velasquez to get beat in all honesty. But i reckon the ref ended it to soon.

A little bit i think when cain just laid there and didnt try block being hit, the ref ended it. At first i thought he was out cold til he turned his head after the ref ended it, but it was way to early, I seen lesnar cop a flogging in a first round and it didnt get stopped and he came back to beat whoever. But i daresay we'll hear lots of complaints soon about the ref ending it.

At first he got hit and went down, and when dos santos got on top at first he tried coverin to the shots, then he just laid there. but the ref should of let it go longer

Herb Dean stopped it at the right time - Dos Santos would have destroyed him on the ground after that monsterous right hook. You could see Velasquez had no legs after the shot to the temple.

Lesnar will have a disadvantage due to being out of the ufc with illness, but he's still a machine, ive never seen overeem fight so dunno bout him.
