If you post a person's name and say that they raped a child, and you post it every day. Eventually there will be repercussions. The guy will be harassed, probably lose his job, get beaten up, possibly killed. But it's illegal for you to do that.

If on the other hand, a President loses an election and posts that it's rigged every day, even though there's zero evidence that it is rigged. There will be repercussions. Supporters will rise up, attack the opposition and the media, possibly even storm the Capitol building in an attempt to stop the democratic process that they believe to be broken. People may even die.

That's the point of the censorship. You can say "free speech" all you like. But if I got a picture of you and your name and posted it everywhere saying that you're raping children, you wouldn't be calling for free speech to protect me. Even though the results are the same. Misinformation that leads to harm and potentially death.
