Culture at Penrith revolves around the Clearys and Alexander's, at older levels they even dictate what team young boys/men have to play at ,in just club football, they have rules that favour themselves and break them as they please for their own adjenders. Bastard of a club.

At this stage the Panthers will be feeling the pinch on a lot of players that aren't all that special. They've just taken the opportunity presented to oust one that's surplus to requirements and on more than they're happy paying.

That's what happens when you date the coaches daughter. All smiles and hugs on the surface but ....

He is being shunted to help with the salary cap, not the texts.
A lot of Panthers have been given an upgrade and they need the money to pay them.

Just like Tyrone's brother...

‘Keep hating’: May’s brother risks own future with post hitting out at ex-Panther’s sacking

Taylan May, the younger brother of ex-Panthers utility Tyrone May, has shared an Instagram post supporting the sacked player.

The Panthers made the decision on Wednesday to sack the 25-year-old after grand final celebrations led to a “serious breach of his contractual obligations”.

Taylan, who made his NRL debut in Round 21 this year, could now see his own future come under scrutiny after a picture of the pair with the Norm-Provan trophy with a caption hitting out at his brother’s sacking.

“Realist (sic) one always stayed loyal to bad, loyalty gets you no where (sic). It’s always just business,” the post read accompanied by the hashtag #keephating.

Superstar halfback Nathan Cleary also shared a photo of May captioned “my brother no matter what, got you always”.

May was initially stood down from all Panthers commitments until “further notice” following the controversial post on Instagram which alluded to his prior convictions.

Following the grand final win, May uploaded a series of photos to Instagram with lyrics from ‘Fair Trade’ by Drake as the caption.

The first photo was of himself in a suit attending Parramatta Local Court for his trial regarding a sex tape. The following photos celebrated the win.

May pleaded guilty to four counts of intentionally recording an image without consent and in January, 2020, was sentenced to 300 hours of community service, as part of a three-year community corrections order.

May’s playing contract expired on November 1 and he is now without a club for 2022 given Penrith have made the call to offer him a new deal.

Pretty sure he will be picked up, its not like he committed any serious crimes since doing the filming things years ago. It was a bit stupid of him to put his neck out though, when Penrith would have been feeling some cap pressure and looking for excuses. All the players are now premiership winners, so will all want upgrades.
