Sure Storm were down on troops, but they were facing a club with a completely new spine, coming off an embarassing loss, and with only 1 NRL game together under their belt.

Combinations still forming.

Kinda like the Dolphins really, except they have an expert coach, and we have a rookie coach with 1 NRL game under his belt.

So you can really delve quite deep and make arguements for both teams really, but the reality is the team put in 100% and we got the desired result. Much to build on from that performance and that's the exciting part!

The whole commentary about Storm being off only started at half time. Before the sin binning they were praising how good the Storm defence was lol

None of them are in our best 17 imo. If we included them for argument sake they would still all have small roles. We had a good win but context is important.

Storm don't have the depth they used to while a lot of their cap is tied up in key players, same story for the Roosters.

We're "only" missing TPJ and Thompson which is significant for us but it's nothing compared to Storm injuries (7 + NAS injured during the game).

They were only missing Munster from the team that beat parramatta only last week. They lost Coates early in that game too. NAS got injured when it was 26-6.
