Your sentiment is correct but it was only Hasler that applied to where Dib started panicking about an upcoming election in early 2018. Pay wasn’t actually sacked, he walked mid-2020 when told the club would have to look elsewhere coaching wise (maybe that’s as good as being sacked) but it was only 5 months after the board was returned and likewise with Barrett as the board was returned in February this year.

But - I agree with you that we must be careful not to create a rep as ‘the coach sackers’ otherwise all future coaches will be looking over their shoulder if results don’t come quickly. It’s tricky - the club needs results but results often take time. That’s likely why Gus wants to save Barrett - although the flip side is Barrett has been given every tool to succeed and we’re still last.
