Just wondering with all the halfback talk who you consider the top 11 in the NRL today.
My criteria is it’s on current form, and must play half.
For me:
1. Nathan Cleary
2. Daily Cherry Evans
3. Mitchell Moses
4. Ben Hunt
5. Ja Hughes
6. Chad Townsend
7. Nico Hynes
8. Adam Reynolds
9. Sam Walker
10. Luke Brooks
11. Jamal Fogerty

If we included ESL players in this list. Lomax would be number 5 and Williams would be number 9.

Merry Christmas to yourself and all 11 fortunate enough to make it on the list

Hughes at 5 is laughable....
Hughes is easily the second best half in the comp
Don’t think so. He’s just a runner with good players around him. You saw what happened in the World Cup when they were gone.

Reynolds is still top 5 halfback he’s a more valuable player then cherry evans or Moses imo. He has leadership qualities. Goes to show you need to build a quality roster to have any success and also have a good coach

Using your list

1. Cleary
2. Hughes
3. DCE
4. Reynolds (needs to be on the field more tho)
5. Hynes
6. Moses
7. Hunt (could swap with Moses)
8. Walker
9. Townsend
10. Fogarty
11. Brooks (not sure why on the list)

If you took age/who you'd sign the list would look a bit different

That’s an interesting thought crime.
Reimagining that list weighting it with age.
Cleary has both covered.

cleary and Moses the only two young gun halves
